This year’s “Candy Crush All Stars” tournament is set to be the “world’s largest casual mobile gaming tournament in history” with a $1 million prize pot.
Per “Candy Crush” maker King, “The stakes are higher than ever in this year’s All Stars tournament, with the prize pot quadrupling to $1M from last year. And with a more epic prize, comes an even more epic live final. This year after the month- long tournament, 10 players will be invited to battle it out at the live final in Los Angeles. Finalists will be able to enjoy a Candy-tastic trip where they’ll go head to head to claim a share of the $1M record-breaking prize pot and be crowned the 2024 All Stars Champion. Divine!”

Players will be able to compete in the qualifier rounds March 28-April 5, which will be followed by multiple knockout stages with challenges that decide the 10 finalists who will participate in the grand finale.
“We might be sweet, but we take Candy Crush All Stars very seriously,” Todd Green, general manager of King’s “Candy Crush” franchise, told Variety. “We’ve always strived to surprise and delight our players, and this tournament is no different. With a chance to attend the final in LA and claim a portion of the epic $1 million prize pot, there will be even greater rewards for our players, making ‘Candy Crush All Stars’ bigger and better than ever.”
Green says that the 2023 “Candy Crush All Stars” tournament, won by player Jay from New York, boasted a total of participants that “could fill over 300 football stadiums” and collected more than 535 billion candies combined. For the 2024 event, modifications have been made based on feedback from those previous competitors, according to the King exec.
“As the tournament is set to be the largest in casual mobile gaming history, listening to our players is even more important,” Green said. “In this year’s tournament, we’ve optimized the gameplay, to make the duration and style more engaging. We’ve also enhanced our Candy Crush Content Hub to make it the one-stop shop for players to navigate the tournament.”
